STRATEGIC PLAN
The Logan Lake Community Forest Corporation (LLCFC) has completed a strategic planning process which included reviewing the 2016 Strategic Plan, refining the mission, vision and guiding principles, and updating the strategic initiatives to consider the current environment and reflect the management direction of the community forest. The Strategic Plan is currently under review and being updated. The core philosophy of the LLCF remains unchanged; the LLCFC is in the business of forest management with the underlying imperative to generate a profit that can be shared with the people of Logan Lake.
BURSARIES
Each year, the LLCF offers the opportunity for local high school students to apply for the Logan Lake Community Forest Bursary and the Harry Holmquist Memorial Bursary. These are awarded in recognition of student’s academic success, meaningful community involvement, display of good character and/or strong work ethic, and are available to student’s pursuing post-secondary education within one-year of graduation. Applications are due in the spring every year via the Logan Lake High School.
