PUBLIC NOTICE
The public is invited to review and comment on Logan Lake Community Forest Corporation (LLCFC) Forest Operations Map (FOM). Two posts will be available for review starting on April 1, 2026.
FOM post #3005 (Coquihalla – Phase 2) shows proposed road construction and cut block development under Forest Stewardship Plan #649 within Logan Lake Community Forest License K2E in the Thompson Rivers Natural Resource District (DTR). In the next few years, LLCFC may plan harvesting and construct roads shown on the FOM that have been available for public review for 30 days. The blocks and roads are in the general vicinity of Coquihalla Highway with the Community Forest and are part of a forest fuel reduction harvesting plan.
FOM post #3002 (One CP Replacement) covers the entire LLCF, supporting efficient scheduling of harvesting and road building. LLCF has been operating under a One CP for the last eight years, with the current one (CP21) reaching the end of its four-year term in December 2026. During the time of the one CP, the LLCF has the flexibility to respond to changing forest conditions and apply treatments where needed within the Community Forest. Cut blocks and road construction will be open for review during the development period.
